Ingredients

Muscle Meat

Muscle meat is a key source of digestible protein and most dogs can digest approximately 90% of the meat consumed. Muscles, organs, skin & hair are all made from approximately 25 amino acids found in meat protein which helps build and repair tissue. Antibodies, enzymes and hormones are also made from the amino acids in protein.

Organ Meats

Organ meat is a rich source of Omega 3/6 fatty acids, vitamins (A, E, D, K, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, vitamin C) and minerals (phosphorous, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, selenium and iron). Some organs like gizzards also contain cartilage, which is a natural source of glucosamine which is essential for healthy joints.

Fruits & Vegetables

We use a combination of green and orange vegetables combined with apples and potatoes which are all finely chopped or ground for easier digestion and absorption of all nutrients present. These fruits and vegetables contain many important nutrients such as vitamins A, B, C, niacin, dietary fiber, pectin, lutein and minerals like potassium, copper, magnesium & iron. Green vegetables also provide a good source of antioxidants which protect against free radical cells while orange vegetables promote strong immune system, good vision plus healthy coats and skin.

Purified Water

Being the most important ingredient in the health and well being of any animal, we use only RO purified water.

Rolled Oats

Rolled oats provides an excellent source of carbohydrate, B Complex vitamins, minerals like iron, magnesium, phosphorous & potassium. They contain more protein per calorie than any other grain and are also a great source of fiber.

Human Grade Stone Ground Flours

There are more than four different kinds of whole unprocessed grains used in our recipe. These are Oat flour, Brown Rice flour, Barley flour and Spelt flour. These grains contain proteins, carbohydrates, fatty oils, fiber and nutrients like iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, selenium, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, and folic acid.

Ground Flax Seed

Flaxseeds (also known as linseeds) contain some valuable therapeutic properties that can help keep your dog looking and feeling great. Flax seeds are loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, minerals, essential vitamins and soluble fiber content. It is known for anti-inflammatory properties and regular consumption minimizes skin irritations, rashes and inflammation. Flax seed is also well-known for regulating cholestrol, boosting anti-oxidant levels, immunity and improve bowel movement.

Coconut is one of the world’s most nourishing superfoods. This creamy taste of the tropics is great for consumption in our favorite recipes and also for topical application. In additional to well known benefits like healthy skin, hair and nails, some of the many non-so-common benefits of coconut oil include increased metabolism providing more energy throughout the day, increased ability to build & repair muscle, improved digestion and reduced inflammation in the gut, improved memory and improved cardio-vascular health. Coconut oil is also known to prevent and treat neuro-degenerative disorders, urinary tract disorders and insulin resistance, heal arthritis, hinder growth of cancer cells and also protects liver and pancreas against heavy workload of breaking saturated fats.

Carob Powder

Carob has a wide variety of health benefits including boosting the immune system, acting as an antioxidant and improving digestion. It is rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorus, Vitamin B2, magnesium and iron.

Nutritional Yeast

Nutritional yeast is a high source of protein and essential amino acid, Lysine, which aids in healthy growth, tissue repair and enzyme production. Lysine also assists the body to absorb calcium, which helps ensure the formation of cartilage, bone, connective tissue and collagen. Nutritional yeast is also rich in the B Vitamins and iron.

Lecithin Granules

Lecithin is a lipid largely responsible for aiding in the flow of nutrients in our bodies. It helps emulsify fat and cholesterol by disbursing them in water in order to help remove them from the body, thus helping to cleanse the liver and kidneys. It also helps the body to absorb Vitamin A, D, E and K. Cell membranes are largely composed of lecithin.

Kelp Powder

Kelp is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and other organic compounds like dietary fiber, amino acids, vitamin C, pantothenic acid, vitamin K, riboflavin, foliate, zinc, copper, calcium, potassium, sodium, iron, magnesium, boron, iodine and manganese. Kelp also contains a specific fiber that aids in the absorption of toxins from the digestive system, thus improving digestion.

Calcium Carbonate

Calcium carbonate is necessary to balance high phosphorus levels in meat, yeast and lecithin. Calcium helps in the formation and maintenance of bones and teeth and aids in the absorption of vitamin B12.

Vitamin C Crystals

Vitamin C is essential for both the immune and nervous system. It also promotes the synthesis of collagen which helps to build, maintain and repair blood vessels and body muscles. Vitamin C also aids in the prevention of heart disease and helps to promote healthy gums.

Parsley

There are a number of healthy nutrients found in parsley including vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin E, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, choline, foliates, calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, and copper. Parsley is also a very good source of volatile compounds such as myristicin, limonene, eugenol, and alpha-thujene. Parsley leaves contain energy, carbohydrates, fat, and protein.

Oregano

Oregano has a wide variety of health benefits. It increases immune health, as two of the most important components of oregano are rosmarinic acid and thymol, both of which are powerful antioxidant compounds. Marjoram

Marjoram is an essential oil that contains a number of vitamins and minerals. Marjoram helps the digestive system process, improves cardiovascular health, helps protect against common illnesses, has anti-inflammatory properties, and helps to reduce anxiety.

Rosemary

Rosemary is a rich source of magnesium. It helps aid immune system strength, helps to stimulate the circulatory and nervous system and aids in the prevention of bad breath. Rosemary has anti-inflammatory and stimulant effects to help aid sore stomachs and relax the digestive tract. Rosemary also has antibacterial and anti-fungal properties.
